Gin and Tea

Yes, by this point, you're wondering if I've gone absolutely berzerk. My college buddy Brian came up with this drink as well, and I never believed that it could be anywhere near good until I tried the damn thing. Green Tea and Gin are great together, cold tea being subtle and refreshing, while the Gin adds that fragrant unmistakeable, almost flowery bite. So I might sound like a lunatic, but you have to believe me. I'll bet my pants you'll enjoy this drink. Just kidding...I don't wear pants...

3 -4 oz. strongly brewed Green Tea, chilled

1 oz. Gin

Honey or sugar

Slice of lime

Ice

Shake tea, gin, and honey together over ice (honey is thick and it takes time to dissolve, so superfine sugar can work faster if you're in a time-pinch). Pour into a thin tall glass over ice, garnish rim with generous slice of lime dipped in sugar, and serve with a straw. The summer evening will pass in no time at all. Or the afternoon. Or the morning, if you're a drunk bastard like me.
