Sleep In

Sleep in.

Today it’s okay.

 

Sunlight will wear away at the dark night

while you roll over.

Stay warm in swaths of thick blankets, soft pillows and

forget about the day before.

 

Keep the blinds closed, turn off the alarm;

Never mind the bars of light seeping through the

windows.

 

Give up, let the ebb and flow of your dreams

take you back home

for a little while.
